I have been invited to give a talk about my work at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts as part of the August Third Thursday celebrations. The talk will start at 5:30pm on Thursday, August 16th in the gallery. More than my introduction, this talk will expand on my generation of subject and the development of the processes that go into my artwork. My paintings are not just a demonstration of technique, but illustrate my philosophy of art. I have developed a style that fosters collaboration between the artist and audience. Come see what I mean and expand your understanding of creative development.
The perfect backdrop for my talk, Dreaming of Light is my solo show on view at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts. I have 40 paintings from throughout my career including several large paintings created specifically for this exhibit. If you haven't had a chance to see the show yet, please come listen to the talk and stay to soak in the mystery of my work.
