Gallery North is the newest Art Gallery to open in North Adams at 9 Eagle Street. The Opening Reception is Saturday June 1st 4-7pm with regular daily hours Monday to Friday 3-7pm, Saturday 1-6pm and Sunday 1-4pm.

Into the Light will be closing Sunday, May 19th, with a closing reception from 2-4pm and artist talk, by me! The show at the Becket Arts Center showcases my latest paintings and drawings developed during my artist residency at the Becket Arts Center. My talk will explain my process and the development of the show through my artist residency at the Becket Arts Center, supported by a grant from Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation Artist’s Resource Trust. The Becket Arts Center is thrilled to announce the upcoming exhibition, "Into the Light," featuring the captivating artworks of Sean McCusker. Running from April 26th to May 19th, this exhibition invites viewers to embark on a journey through surreal landscapes filled with vibrant colors and open-ended narratives inspired by his artist residency at the Becket Arts Center. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 26th from 5-7pm, with refreshments. There will be a closing held on Sunday, May 19th, from 2-4pm; with an artist talk starting at 3pm. This project has been supported by a grant from Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation Artist’s Resource Trust.

This Friday, August 3rd, I will be holding a reception for my first solo show at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts! Although I have had many solo shows in the past, none have been in a space quite this large. In preparation, I have made several new large scale paintings to fit the beautiful venue. As I am hoping to see many new faces at this reception, I will be giving a brief introduction to my work as part of the opening. The talk will start at 5:30pm, August 3rd, and I will be available the rest of the reception if anyone wants to ask questions one on one. If you cannot make the reception, the show will be on display from August 1st through August 31st, so make sure to stop in.
